Off-White men's pre-fall '19 entitled "Incompiuto Pt. 1" looks to embrace the imperfect qualities in design. Not one for erasing the "human impact" or the "flawless" Virgil Abloh, leans more toward the characteristics that connotate humanity. The collection's title, as well as its inspiration, is drawn from a ten-year study of unfinished Italian architecture created by art collective Alterazioni Video. Unfinished hems and seams are paired with half-done, or painted over, renaissance paintings on shirts, trousers, and jackets. Standard Off-White arrows and diagonal graphics are void of their usual polish or are left completely unfinished. And as Abloh continues his ascent as a designer the Off-White aesthetic does as well. Filled with high gloss trenches and plaid suits, the collection fully embraces "a strong emphasis on style." The Windbreaker jacket is a packaway rain pullover-style jacket with creative zip detail at shoulders. Elasticated sleeve cuffs and hem comes complete with bungee cords and lace toggles.
